Haredi leader forbids public #prayer, tells followers to abide by #virus rules

A senior ultra-Orthodox leader forbids public prayer and calls on his followers to abide by the government’s regulations against gatherings, amid large-scale violations of these restrictions by the country’s Haredi population.

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky says that it is a matter of saving lives, known in Hebrew as pikuah nefesh, which in Jewish law overrides almost all other religious requirements.

The ruling comes after a mass funeral procession and burial in Kanievsky’s hometown of Bnei Brak, which was held in clear violation of the government’s restrictions against gatherings.

Kanievsky, a well-regarded rabbi who makes rulings on Jewish legal issues, says all public prayer should cease, including that held in open spaces as is technically permitted under the government’s regulations, as it can risk people’s lives.

Kanievsky had originally opposed the government’s efforts to curb the deadly coronavirus, calling for his community’s schools and Jewish learning institutions to remain open despite the bans.

His reversal follows a large public outcry against the ultra-Orthodox community apparent flouting these rules and amid a large-scale outbreak in Bnei Brak and other Haredi towns.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been called “an icon of the West’s rapprochement with Islam,” but he’s actually an icon of the West’s submission to Islamism. Examples: Canada’s intelligence agency CSIS admits that dozens of known jihadis are walking free and authorities won’t charge them. A secret program that grants visas to war criminals, terrorists, and those who pose security threats was recently exposed. Hizballah’s external operations group, known as Unit 910, is reported to be “even more active” in Canada than it has been in the United States. What are the long-term consequences?

Freedom of Religion in Crosshairs: Proposed French Law Lumps All Religions with #Islamic Extremism

By Deborah Bunting
April 16, 2021

Freedom of religion is under new attack from a bill passed this week by the French Senate. The bill’s framers hope the proposed law will protect French society from further violence by Islamic radicals. But it targets all religious groups, not just Islamic extremists who have perpetrated numerous attacks on Christians and others in recent months and years.

“The wind has changed in France,” Clément Diedrichs, general director of the National Council of Evangelicals in France (CNEF) which represents half of the French protestants, told Christianity Today (CT). The government has “clearly indicated that we’re no longer in a Christian society.”

“Religion has become expendable,” he noted, saying that the country’s leadership no longer has any desire to protect space for any faith.

The Senate bill does curtail religious liberty. It reinstates the right to homeschool children, which the National Assembly version had eliminated, but increases state oversight of teaching children at home.

The proposed law also targets the financing of missionary outreaches from abroad by limiting overseas funding of church planting and building in France, a move that apparently conflates such foreign donations with Islamic funding of terrorism. According to CT, the law would also “increase government surveillance of pastors’ teaching and increase religious leaders’ legal liability, proposing steep sanctions for speech deemed to encourage disrespect of laws.”

As of this writing, there have been no reports of violent attacks by Christians or their pastors against non-Christians in France. But the proposed law paints all religious believers – whether they embrace a violent ideology or not – with a very broad brush.

“We’re shifting from a separation of church and state based on liberty to a separation based on control,” said François Clavairoly, president of the Protestant Federation of France (FPF), which includes both evangelicals and Lutheran Reformed groups. More Information Here!!

Green allegedly #killed #Capitol #Police Officer Billy Evans, an 18-year veteran of the force, after mowing him and another unidentified officer down with his blue Nissan Altima at the north barricade barrier at the Capitol just after 1 pm.

UPDATED: 00:36 EDT, 3 April 2021

Green then exited the vehicle wielding a knife and started ‘lunging’ toward officers. He was shot dead by other cops.

Capitol Police confirmed Friday evening that the other officer who was struck by the car is in stable and non-threatening condition.

The motive for Friday’s attack is not yet clear. The tragic incident comes less than three months after the January 6 riot on the US Capitol and one week after wire fencing was removed from the area.

Green was not known to police in Washington DC but he did have a record in another state, according to law enforcement sources.

A Facebook page belonging to Green has now been taken down. Law enforcement sources confirmed to CNN it belonged to the suspect.

The page showed he was a fan of the leader of Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan and contained posts where the user said he was on a ‘spiritual journey’ after having a ‘tough’ past ‘few years’ and recently losing his job.

‘To be honest these past few years have been tough, and these past few months have been tougher. I have been tried with some of the biggest, unimaginable tests in my life,’ read a Facebook post dated March 17.

‘I am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey.’

Green went on to describe Farrakhan as ‘Jesus, the Messiah’ and the ‘raiser of the dead to life, making the blind see, and the deaf hear.’

‘I consider him my spiritual father. Without his guidance, his word, and his teachings that I’ve picked up on along the way, I would’ve been unable to continue,’ he wrote.

‘Preaching to the multitudes, calling a million black men to Washington, and standing up to the most powerful government of modern times. He has done miraculous work not just with me, but with the lives of millions.’

In the post, Green also wrote that he had been ‘unknowingly’ taking a drug which he said had caused him to suffer ‘concerning symptoms’.

‘I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly),’ read the post.

‘However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah (God) has chosen me for other things.’

Green signed off the message Brother Noah X. The same day, he uploaded an image of a certificate made out to a Noah X that recognized a gift of $1,085 to the Nation of Islam.

The Facebook page also included links to videos of Farrakhan and posts about the Nation of Islam.

Less than two hours before Green drove a vehicle through the barriers at the Capitol, he also posted a series of Instagram stories in which he called the US government the ‘#1 enemy of Black people’, CNN reported.

‘The U.S. Government is the #1 enemy of Black people!’ a caption on a video read.

In another Instagram post around a week ago, Green claimed the CIA, FBI and other government agencies had caused him ‘terrible afflictions’ including subjecting him to ‘multiple home break ins, food poisonings, assaults, unauthorized operations in the hospital, mind control’.

He credited Farrakhan with saving him ‘after the terrible afflictions I have suffered presumably by the CIA and FBI, government agencies of the United States of America,’ reported CNN.

‘I have suffered multiple home break ins, food poisonings, assaults, unauthorized operations in the hospital, mind control,’ he added.

Green graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

He played football at the college as well as in high school, where he also ran track.

An athletics bio for the university reveals he was born in Fairlea, West Virginia, and has seven sisters and two brothers.

He wrote that the ‘person in history he’d most like to meet is Malcolm X.’

It is not clear when he first became interested in the Nation of Islam.

The Nation of Islam, founded in Chicago in 1930, teaches that black people are the rulers of earth, who were created first, and who every other race descends from.

Malcolm X was perhaps the most famous Nation of Islam follower, and he convinced Muhammad Ali to join.

Malcolm X grew disillusioned with the group, however, and left: members of the Nation are believed to have murdered him in 1965.

Farrakhan, 87, is a known anti-Semite whose remarks on race and religion have sparked controversy in the past. Most recently, he told followers not to get the vaccine.

His followers are seen by critics as black supremacists, and the Southern Poverty Law Center categorizes the organization as a hate group.

‘Its theology of innate black superiority over whites and the deeply racist, antisemitic and anti-LGBT rhetoric of its leaders have earned the NOI a prominent position in the ranks of organized hate,’ they say.

The founder of NOI, Wallace Fard, taught that there would be an apocalyptic overthrow of white domination, insisting that the dominion of evil was to end with God’s appearance on earth in the person of Fard.

Fard was succeeded by Elijah Muhammad, who was succeeded by Farrakhan.

In a statement on Friday afternoon, Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said: ‘It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of Officer William ‘Billy’ Evans this afternoon from injuries he sustained following an attack at the North Barricade by a lone assailant. More Information Here!!

Somali Muslim convict and double rapist allowed to stay in UK after winning deportation battle on ‘human rights’ grounds after judge says he will face ‘degrading’ treatment in Somalia

The 49-year-old ‘unidentified’ Muslim rapist arrived in Britain in 2004 and claimed asylum, but the Home Office sought to deport him after he amassed eight convictions in the space of six years for robbery, trying to pervert the course of justice, and raping two different women, among his many offenses.

He used a knife during one rape and had been jailed for more than seven years before being in immigration detention. A tribunal has heard he was ‘aggressive and unacceptable,’ while detained in prison

An immigration tribunal judgment heard: ‘While at HMP Stafford he was not able always to behave appropriately. ‘On several occasions after January 2017 he was placed in segregation, his attitude and behaviour being aggressive and unacceptable.’ He was assessed as posing a ‘high risk of serious harm’ to the public.

An immigration judge accepted mental healthcare was ‘extremely poor’ in Somalia ‘and that those with mental health issues, particularly those who are aggressive, were often stigmatised, considered ‘possessed’, and subjected to inhuman and degrading treatment within both society and families, including stoning and chaining.’ (So…? Couldn’t happen to a more deserving criminal)

If the decision of this idiot judge isn’t bad enough, last month protesters who stormed Stansted Airport to ground a flight deporting 25 Muslim convicted terrorists to Africa saw their convictions overturned by a leftist judge stating they were wrongly charged as terrorists.

Starbucks Brand Crashes After Announcement of Plan to Hire 10,000 Muslim ‘Refugees’

The Starbucks Coffee brand has taken a major hit since the company’s announcement that it would hire 10,000 Muslim “refugees” in response to President Donald Trump’s temporary travel moratorium in January.

Starbucks was one of those early to criticize President Trump for putting a temporary hold on immigration from a list of seven terror-torn countries flagged by the Obama administration. In response, the coffee house giant pledged to hire 10,000 Muslim refugees over five years in protest against Trump’s order.

But since the company issued its anti-Trump statement its brand name has lost its luster with customers. Perception levels of the Starbucks brand name fell by an incredible two-thirds since its January announcement, according to a YouGov survey, as reported by Yahoo Finance.

The survey measures how potential customers feel about a company’s brand and asks if they have “heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative.”

In the week before the company’s January refugees announcement, 30% of respondents said they would consider spending money at Starbucks. But after the statement that number fell to 24 percent, the survey discovered.

The company’s announcement immediately sparked a #BoycottStarbucks movement on Twitter and brought condemnation from coast to coast.
