A careful read of the 2017 Hamas “policy document,” however, revealed the group’s real intention: to eliminate Israel.

Article 2 of the Hamas document, titled “The Land of Palestine,” states:

“Palestine, which extends from the [Jordan River in the east to the Mediterranean [Sea] in the west, and from Ras al-Naqurah in the north to Umm al-Rashrash in the south, is an integral territorial unit.
